A special treat for the children

This past week brought both grandma's and grandchildren together for a cause. The students at Morning Son Christian School are supporting God's Children in Haiti through their monthly chapel offerings. They have paired up with the Quilting Ladies of Trinity Lutheran Church. I was asked to attend chapel for a special treat, but I had no idea how many, or how beautiful, the treat was going to be! (I am talking about both the children and the quilts!)

The quilts will be used for the older girls at the orphanage. They will be so blessed to have a blanket to call their own! I will also hang a few on the walls, as both a decoration and to remind the children of the love that comes from the North!
